"guerrilla warfare"....
I read many
years ago that the term "guerrilla" warfare originates from the Romans
in their descriptions of the battle tactics of their tribal enemies in
Germania. I decided to brush up on my knowledge of specific campaigns
in Gaul and Germania, and found this fantastic report/Website (for the
history buffs)
